Forward Deployed AI Engineer
Tasks
- Account for production outcomes of components workflows and systems
- Build and operate production AI systems in customer environments
- Build evaluation frameworks test cases feedback mechanisms and observability patterns
- Collaborate with customers and subject matter experts to clarify requirements and tradeoffs
- Debug issues and iterate to improve quality reliability and user value
- Design and implement AI workflows with models prompts agents tools retrieval evaluation feedback execution
- Develop Python services and application logic integrating AI capabilities
- Make system design decisions balancing speed robustness maintainability and customer impact
- Measure system behavior and identify failure modes
- Use AI tools for coding debugging experimentation data analysis and automation
