Senior Data Platform Engineer

Tasks
- Design implement and maintain scalable secure resilient enterprise data platform services
- Evaluate third party vendors and conduct proof of concepts
- Implement AWS cost allocation tagging and FinOps practices
- Implement data governance including masking policies and row level security
- Integrate AI assisted tooling and Model Context Protocol capabilities
- Integrate data workflows with Alation
- Lead monitoring alerting and observability with incident response and post mortems
- Optimize data lakes data warehouses and real time analytics on AWS
- Own and operate streaming infrastructure Debezium Kafka and Apache Flink
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform
- Support out of hours operations for internal stakeholders
