Lead Embedded Systems Software Engineer
Tasks
- Build and maintain hardware in the loop tests
- Build and maintain software in the loop tests
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, and product teams
- Contribute to hiring and define technical bar
- Debug firmware using hardware tools
- Define software interfaces and data flows
- Develop and integrate networking stacks
- Develop drivers middleware and application logic
- Identify risks and drive solutions
- Integrate sensors and optimize data transfer
- Lead embedded engineers and set goals
- Make and document key technical decisions
- Mentor engineers through design reviews and pair programming
- Perform code reviews for correctness safety and maintainability
- Set test coverage standards and static analysis standards
- Ship reliable high performance firmware
- Translate product requirements into system software architecture
- Write and maintain production firmware
- Write and review automated unit and integration tests
