Azure Data Engineer - Remote, Latin America
Tasks
- Build data warehousing schemas with star facts and dimensions
- Collaborate with stakeholders on data requirements
- Create data models and schemas with business requirements
- Design ETL/data integration processes
- Develop ETL jobs for extraction transformation and loading
- Document ETL processes and data transformations
- Ensure data security and compliance with governance and privacy standards
- Extract data from REST APIs database tables and CSV files
- Implement data lakes and lakehouses and delta lakes concepts
- Implement data quality checks and validation
- Maintain Azure Synapse Analytics notebooks and pipelines
- Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot failures
- Optimize notebooks and pipelines for scalability and performance
- Tune query and ETL performance to meet SLAs
