Data Center Operations Engineer
Tasks
- Conduct load balancing across power and cooling zones
- Implement automation for operational efficiency
- Install and configure servers and compute equipment
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis
- Manage structured cabling
- Operate and maintain cooling systems
- Operate and maintain power systems
- Own data center reliability and performance
- Partner with colocation providers to maintain uptime
- Perform capacity planning and preventive maintenance
- Perform layer 1 to layer 3 troubleshooting
- Refine Standard Operating Procedures
- Review maintenance procedures and coordinate planned work
- Validate redundancy during transitions
- Verify site health after power or cooling events
