Tasks
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines
- Create runbooks and troubleshooting guides
- Design Azure Data Platform
- Document data lineage schemas and transformations
- Implement incremental loads and CDC
- Integrate Microsoft Purview data lineage and catalog
- Maintain data dictionary and metadata
- Maintain data quality and observability
- Monitor pipelines using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Operate pipeline reliability and SLAs
- Optimize Synapse cost and performance
- Optimize query runtimes and data freshness
- Perform root cause analysis and post-mortems
- Support BI analytics users with SQL and Power BI connectivity
- Support PCI DSS and SOC 2 security reviews
- Train stakeholders on SQL data requests and procedures
- Triage and resolve data integration failures
