Platform Engineer
Tasks
- Build core platform and data plane components
- Conduct performance profiling and load testing
- Define gRPC protobuf service communication contracts
- Design multi tenant isolation with namespaces network policies and RBAC
- Design scalable microservices architectures
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Implement service mesh configurations
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis
- Manage CI/CD pipelines
- Operate observability stack with monitoring and tracing
- Own backend infrastructure end to end
- Plan capacity and configure autoscaling with HPA VPA KEDA
- Set up GitOps workflows with ArgoCD or Flux
- Set up reliability contracts with SLIs SLOs and error budgets
