Director, Forward Deployed AI Engineering
Tasks
- Build and ship AI workflow automation
- Coordinate with IT Security Legal and Compliance
- Create handoff documentation and runbooks
- Debug production integrations
- Develop AI agents and automation pipelines
- Develop business cases with ROI and KPIs
- Drive change management and adoption
- Drive full deployment lifecycle discovery to production
- Ensure data governance and access control compliance
- Ensure rigorous testing before deployment
- Establish workflow handoff standards with platform team
- Implement observability for deployed workflows
- Instrument tracing structured logs and dashboards
- Lead forward deployed AI engineering team
- Manage human in the loop checkpoints
- Manage team hiring and development
- Provide technical advisory to business stakeholders
- Report progress and business impact cadence
- Run production grade evaluations
- Scope workflows end to end
- Set success criteria and track KPIs
- Translate business goals into roadmap sequencing
- Tune prompts and context in production
