- Define analytics engineering vision and operating model
- Define role architecture promotion criteria and calibration standards
- Drive adoption of AI enabled analytics workflows
- Ensure scalable data pipelines and experimentation capabilities
- Establish analytics engineering centre of excellence
- Improve organizational structure and execution velocity
- Influence data architecture and partner with central data teams
- Lead analytics engineering hiring and performance management
- Monitor and improve team health capability and performance
- Own analytics engineering roadmap and AI initiatives
- Own budget and investment decisions for data infrastructure and tooling
- Own metrics layer as single source of truth
- Promote data product mindset
- Set direction for data platform pipelines and warehouse
