Robotics Software Engineer
Tasks
- Build behavioral systems using state machines behavior trees or task planners
- Build simulation environments for development and testing
- Design and execute field tests data collection and post test analysis
- Design and integrate sensor data pipelines
- Develop motion planning control and trajectory generation algorithms
- Develop robotics software in C++ and Python
- Implement perception localization and mapping algorithms
- Implement safety critical patterns fault detection and safe stops
- Integrate ROS or ROS 2 with custom hardware and embedded systems
- Maintain technical documentation architecture diagrams runbooks and operational procedures
- Mentor junior and mid level engineers through code review and design review
