Tasks
- Administer Redis PostgreSQL MySQL and MongoDB in production
- Build Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible
- Build and optimize streaming and batch pipelines
- Conduct incident response and root cause analysis
- Containerize and orchestrate workloads with Docker and Kubernetes
- Design end-to-end data pipelines
- Develop automation scripts to reduce operational toil
- Handle Kafka upgrades scaling and health checks
- Implement CI CD pipelines for deployment and configuration automation
- Manage AWS infrastructure and monitoring with CloudWatch
- Manage Kafka Connect and KSQL
- Manage data security encryption and least privilege access
- Migrate Kafka and related services to Kubernetes
- Operate and maintain Apache Kafka clusters
- Participate in on-call incident response
- Perform Kafka operations offset lag and consumer groups
- Set up observability metrics logs and tracing
- Support cloud migration between on prem and cloud
- Support database upgrades configuration tuning and monitoring
