Prompt Engineer
Tasks
- Architect agentic systems with tool use planning memory and multi step reasoning
- Build internal LLM development tooling and libraries
- Collaborate on prompt model co design and fine tuning opportunities
- Conduct technical reviews of LLM application designs
- Define LLM application standards and reference architectures
- Design prompt structures instruction templates and retrieval strategies
- Design retrieval augmented generation pipelines with chunking indexing and reranking
- Develop evaluation frameworks for prompt quality agent reliability and task success
- Document patterns anti patterns and lessons learned
- Establish guardrails safety filters and policy enforcement patterns
- Lead red teaming exercises to improve robustness
- Mentor engineers on prompt engineering and LLM architecture
- Track latency cost and quality trade offs and recommend optimizations
