- Build simulation environments for development and testing
- Design sensor data pipelines
- Develop motion planning control and trajectory generation
- Develop robotics software in C and Python
- Evaluate robotics technologies and recommend adoption
- Implement SLAM and sensor fusion
- Implement perception localization and mapping
- Implement safety critical watchdogs fault detection safe stops
- Integrate ROS and ROS 2 with hardware
- Maintain technical documentation and runbooks
- Mentor engineers through code review and design review
- Perform field tests and data collection
