Machine Learning Manager, Feed Relevance (Retrieval)
Tasks
- Coach and develop machine learning team
- Collaborate with ML platform infrastructure ranking safety and product teams
- Define technical vision and roadmap for feed retrieval
- Establish measurement experimentation and debugging practices
- Lead operational excellence for responsible recommendation systems
- Maintain system performance reliability latency and cost standards
- Oversee design development and optimization of retrieval systems
- Partner with cross functional teams to set expectations and communicate progress
- Partner with recruiting to attract interview and hire machine learning engineers
- Translate feed relevance goals into team roadmap and priorities
