Tasks
- Administer non intravenous medication
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care
- Change wound dressings and obtain cultures
- Complete mandatory training
- Coordinate patient care under provider direction
- Operate diagnostic equipment and perform quality control checks
- Perform EKGs
- Perform infection control and follow privacy and confidentiality
- Perform specimen collection and venipuncture
- Record patient documentation in medical record
- Room patients and prepare for examination
- Screen patients by intake and information gathering
- Sterilize equipment using autoclave
- Support standard delegation of orders
