Senior Staff Engineer, Supply chain optimization
Tasks
- Apply machine learning enhanced optimization and approximation algorithms
- Build discrete-event and agent-based simulations
- Convert business use cases into technical design
- Create business recommendations from data and models
- Define NFR guidelines and benchmarks
- Develop optimization models with exact solvers and heuristics
- Formulate mathematical models and embed into scalable applications
- Implement hybrid optimization and real time optimization engines
- Integrate optimization models into applications
- Lead proofs of concept to validate designs and technologies
- Review architecture for extensibility, scalability, security, and best practices
- Support pre sales and go to market asset development
- Use meta heuristic algorithms for combinatorial problems
- Write and review design documents
