- Collaborate with Technical Product Owner on scope and tradeoffs
- Drive technical and architectural design decisions
- Lead engineering team delivery and development
- Operate as role model for other engineering managers
- Own release process and engineering quality
- Own roadmap delivery commitments
- Own team hiring and recruiting
- Plan prioritize and deliver work cadence
- React to change with re-planning and re-prioritizing
- Translate business objectives to engineering execution
- Uphold engineering standards via pull request review
- Write code and review code
