Tasks
- Build microservices with reliability and scalability
- Collaborate with QA DevOps and Product for operational readiness
- Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers
- Create operational runbooks and post mortems
- Create technical design documents
- Design PostgreSQL and MongoDB schemas and queries
- Develop Kafka event driven workflows
- Implement Elasticsearch search features
- Implement and test backend services
- Instrument services with logging metrics and alerting
- Own backend features end-to-end
- Participate in on-call and incident response
- Perform root cause analysis and preventive improvements
