Senior Data Engineer
Tasks
- Act as technical subject matter expert for internal cross functional and client facing discussions
- Build reusable platform capabilities for execution logging metrics error handling testing and deployment
- Collaborate with engineering data science QA product and analytics teams to deliver production ready data capabilities
- Design data workflows for idempotency replayability backfills schema evolution and safe rollouts
- Design develop and maintain scalable fault tolerant ETL ELT pipelines
- Diagnose production performance and data quality issues and drive corrective actions
- Evaluate and integrate AI assisted or agentic workflows for data processing improvements
- Improve scalability reliability observability maintainability security and cost efficiency
- Lead platform initiatives from discovery architecture to production adoption
- Modernize legacy data processes while preserving production continuity
- Own data platform technical design implementation rollout and operational support
- Perform technical design reviews and establish engineering patterns and standards
- Provide technical mentorship through architecture guidance code reviews and documentation
- Translate ambiguous objectives into executable technical plans and production systems
