- Develop best practices and standard operating procedures
- Ensure data retention compliance
- Evaluate new storage and backup technologies
- Fulfill service requests within SLAs
- Generate backup status reports
- Generate storage utilization reports
- Identify operational efficiency improvements
- Implement backup infrastructure
- Implement backup policies and retention
- Implement enterprise storage infrastructure
- Maintain enterprise storage infrastructure
- Maintain operational documentation
- Monitor backup success rates
- Optimize storage performance
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Perform backup restoration testing
- Perform daily backup operations
- Perform health checks and preventive maintenance
- Plan storage capacity
- Provide incident response for storage and backup issues
- Support business continuity exercises
- Support cost optimization initiatives
- Support disaster recovery testing
- Support training and knowledge transfer
- Troubleshoot backup failures
- Use infrastructure as code for storage operations
