Technical Specialist (Power BI)
Tasks
- Administer Power BI Service tenant and workspaces
- Apply tabular modelling best practices
- Build enterprise semantic models
- Collaborate with stakeholders on analytics requirements
- Communicate analytics concepts to technical and non technical audiences
- Define semantic modelling architectural standards
- Deliver analytics reporting across business domains
- Design dimensional models using star schema
- Develop data pipelines for semantic models
- Enforce access controls and data policies
- Govern Power BI and Microsoft Fabric platform
- Implement CI CD pipelines for BI using Azure DevOps
- Implement row level security using role based access control
- Plan capacity and manage gateways
- Tune DAX performance and optimize queries
