SQL Sr. Database Engineer (Hybrid)
Tasks
- Analyze execution plans and performance diagnostics
- Deploy database schema changes with release management
- Design implement maintain SQL Server high availability
- Design optimize maintain SQL Server database systems
- Design test disaster recovery procedures
- Develop maintain backup and restore strategies
- Implement database security encryption access controls audit logging
- Implement indexing strategies and query optimizations
- Investigate resolve performance issues using DMVs and wait statistics
- Manage failover configurations
- Monitor production databases and incidents
- Plan and execute SQL Server upgrades and migrations
- Support SQL Server deployments on AWS EC2 and Amazon RDS
- Support database version control and deployments
- Support security compliance data classification PCI SOC2 HIPAA
- Troubleshoot concurrency issues blocking and deadlocks
- Tune T-SQL queries and stored procedures
