Tasks
- Assess supplier technical capability capacity and risk
- Conduct design for manufacturability reviews
- Conduct should cost modeling
- Diagnose and resolve purchase order discrepancies and invoice issues
- Ensure lead times and inventory levels
- Execute risk management analysis
- Lead commercial and quality initiatives
- Maintain Bill of Materials accuracy
- Manage value engineering projects
- Mitigate sole source risk
- Optimize logistics and inventory policies
- Perform make vs buy decisions
- Place purchase orders for material requirements planning messages
- Plan sourcing strategies with metrics tracking
- Provide status updates on supply issues
- Support supplier facility visits
