Tasks
- Architect MongoDB solutions for high availability disaster recovery and scaling
- Automate MongoDB deployment configuration and maintenance with infrastructure as code
- Collaborate on MongoDB schema design query optimization and data modeling
- Coordinate with DevOps and Infrastructure on deployment automation and Kubernetes
- Design implement backup and recovery strategies
- Design implement maintain MongoDB replica sets and sharded clusters
- Implement monitoring and alerting for MongoDB metrics
- Manage MongoDB security with authentication authorization encryption TLS
- Monitor MongoDB cluster health
- Participate in change management incident response and on call rotation
- Perform MongoDB upgrades with minimal downtime
- Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for MongoDB workloads
- Provide guidance and mentorship on MongoDB best practices
- Troubleshoot production incidents including failovers and replication issues
