SQL Developer / Core Banking Data Engineer
Tasks
- Build and maintain event driven pipelines
- Build and operate scalable cloud data infrastructure
- Build data structures for double entry ledger concepts
- Build data warehouse lakehouse pipelines and transformations
- Collaborate with stakeholders on data governance and controls
- Create canonical domain models and golden sources
- Design and implement data ingestion and transformation for core banking domains
- Design reconciliation controls for source to reporting validation
- Develop batch and streaming processing patterns
- Enforce data quality rules with automated monitoring and alerting
- Ensure schema evolution and schema registry governance
- Implement idempotent ingestion patterns
- Implement integration patterns for near real time and end of day needs
- Implement observability for data pipelines
- Implement privacy by design GDPR retention controls
- Perform incident response and root cause analysis
- Produce technical documentation data contracts schemas lineage diagrams reconciliation playbooks
- Support audit requirements with lineage and traceability
- Translate requirements into data products
