Tasks
- Contribute to metrics for customer uptime
- Coordinate with third party vendors and contractors
- Deliver small to mid-scale projects
- Enforce security best practices
- Escalate system and network hardware issues
- Handle high severity issues
- Install and configure server racks
- Meet 24x7 on call requirements
- Participate in data center power and cooling events
- Recover physical power issues on racks
- Remediate physical layer outages
- Replace server and network device parts
- Resolve trouble tickets
- Rotate parts and spares
- Train less technical staff
- Triage and resolve device trouble tickets
- Troubleshoot Linux server issues
- Troubleshoot XEN virtualization
