Member of Technical Staff - Firmware Engineer, Robotics, Frontier AI & Robotics
Tasks
- Build firmware test frameworks and hardware in the loop environments
- Define hardware interfaces and actuator bring up procedures
- Develop embedded firmware
- Develop firmware for field oriented control
- Develop firmware interfaces for low latency high bandwidth communication
- Implement real time firmware for state estimation fault detection protection logic
- Maintain firmware documentation and version control
- Test and optimize embedded firmware
- Tune current regulators velocity controllers and position controllers
- Validate firmware behavior across operating conditions edge cases and failure modes
