Tasks
- Advise CTO and exec team on AI strategy roadmap and investment
- Align AI platform capability with engineering architecture
- Assess AI capability and define team plan
- Create AI literacy across engineering organization
- Define and govern model pipeline architecture
- Define standards for AI behaviors governance and evaluation
- Design build and evolve AI platform
- Drive applied AI across product surface
- Embed AI into engineering delivery process
- Establish model abstraction and vendor flexibility
- Establish model governance and explainability standards
- Evaluate select AI tooling and services
- Implement AI telemetry and runtime observability
- Lead develop and retain data scientists and data engineers
- Own evaluation pipeline for AI features
- Partner on AI governance security compliance assurance
- Partner with product on AI feasibility and scalability
- Perform model selection build vs buy decisions
- Represent AI platform in enterprise customer procurement conversations
- Translate product requirements into AI architecture decisions
