Staff LiDAR Algorithms Engineer
Tasks
- Analyze lab and field test data
- Conduct algorithm trade studies
- Debug cross domain optics DSP firmware and software issues
- Define algorithm requirements and performance budgets
- Develop clustering tracking and object detection algorithms
- Develop point cloud processing pipelines
- Develop signal processing algorithms
- Establish traceability to sensor specifications
- Implement DSP filtering methods
- Implement peak detection
- Optimize FFT based processing
- Own LiDAR sensing algorithm architecture
- Perform noise mitigation
- Perform sensor fusion interface development
- Provide technical guidance in design reviews
- Run simulation and analysis for validation
- Support algorithm integration and validation
