Tasks
- Conduct incident response and root cause analysis for streaming issues
- Containerize and orchestrate workloads with Docker and Kubernetes
- Design and build end-to-end data pipelines
- Develop automation scripts to reduce manual toil
- Handle Kafka operations offset management lag monitoring consumer groups partition tuning
- Implement CI CD pipelines for deployment and configuration automation
- Implement data security practices encryption secrets management least privilege
- Manage AWS infrastructure and observability tooling
- Manage and support Apache Kafka clusters
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform or Ansible
- Operate and optimize streaming and batch data pipelines
- Operate and support databases in production including Redis PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB
- Participate in on call incident response and cloud migration
- Perform Kafka cluster maintenance upgrades configuration scaling
