Engineer III - Data Analytics (Hybrid)
Tasks
- Align solutions with cost reduction program
- Build dashboards and reporting for cost visibility
- Build integrations with cloud billing APIs
- Collaborate with data analytics on cost data pipelines
- Collaborate with platform teams on cost optimization
- Contribute to FinOps analytics requirements
- Contribute to FinOps governance and technical standards
- Create technical documentation and best practices
- Design and implement automated cost monitoring
- Design scalable cost data collection and processing solutions
- Develop cost allocation algorithms
- Develop tooling and automation for FinOps processes
- Implement cost guardrails and automated policies
- Mentor junior engineers
- Monitor cloud pricing changes and optimization opportunities
- Partner with product engineering teams on cost optimization
- Provide technical input for FinOps roadmap
- Research and evaluate cost optimization tools
- Support FinOps working group with implementation guidance
