Development Engineer – Embedded Software / Firmware (PAGA/PAVA Systems)
Tasks
- Apply MISRA C and perform static analysis
- Author software architecture and interface documentation
- Collaborate with cross functional teams for requirements and delivery estimates
- Create test plans and perform verification and validation
- Design and implement embedded C C++ software
- Develop and test embedded firmware
- Develop digital audio streaming routing and processing algorithms
- Implement Ethernet and serial communication protocols
- Implement microcontroller peripherals and low level software
- Investigate and resolve development manufacturing commissioning and field issues
- Maintain configuration management and change control
- Manage interrupts and memory handling
- Mentor less experienced engineers
- Perform code reviews and develop unit and integration tests
- Support board bring up integration debugging and validation
- Support regression testing for product releases
