Associate Director, RDU IT Data Engineering
Tasks
- Automate PII detection policy checks and audit artifacts
- Balance cost performance and concurrency
- Build scalable secure data products on AWS and Snowflake
- Contribute data catalog metadata semantic tags and enrichment
- Design cloud native ELT ETL data pipelines
- Develop reusable components and golden path templates
- Enable anomaly and drift detection with root cause suggestions
- Ensure FAIR and TRUSTed data product alignment
- Generate unit and integration tests and optimize queries
- Implement batch micro batch event driven integrations
- Implement data governance privacy controls RBAC and encryption
- Implement data quality frameworks and SLAs and SLOs
- Instrument pipelines with metrics logs and traces
- Mentor engineers on modern data engineering and responsible AI
- Optimize pipeline performance reliability and security
- Partner with data science and analytics teams on data contracts
- Support Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Tune Snowflake warehouses queries and dbt models
- Use AI copilots to scaffold SQL Python and dbt code
