Provider Enrollment & Credentialing Specialist
Tasks
- Act as liaison for credentials and provider numbers
- Align clinician credentialing with payor contract terms
- Conduct self audits for credentialing accuracy
- Coordinate hospital privileges appointments
- Maintain credentialing files
- Manage provider recredentialing
- Monitor credentialing reports
- Process provider enrollment applications
- Protect patient privacy and PHI
- Review credentialing and licensure information
- Run system reviews for provider data accuracy
- Submit provider enrollment and credentialing paperwork
- Track malpractice coverage renewals
- Track provider credentialing changes
- Verify license and DEA renewals
