- Complete supplier risk assessments
- Coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure
- Coordinate product development deliverables with buyers planners and production control
- Coordinate schedules deliverables and resources
- Create and update project materials strategy
- Develop commercialization transition materials plan
- Develop supplier and commodity roadmaps
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and timelines
- Execute material change control process
- Forecast engineering materials and manufacturing requirements to suppliers
- Generate and publish KPI metrics
- Identify critical parts long lead parts and inspection requirements
- Manage cross-functional projects
- Monitor supplier performance delivery quality cost
- Oversee regional customer facing problem resolution
- Perform make-versus-buy analysis
- Prepare and present status reports
- Resolve quality issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Support supplier price and delivery negotiations
- Track project progress identify risks and implement mitigation plans
- Track total landed cost targets
