Senior Data Engineer
Tasks
- Act as intake point for analytics data requests
- Build dbt models
- Coach teams on data products
- Communicate tradeoffs and delivery timelines
- Define data ingestion modeling standards
- Define primary company KPIs
- Design and maintain analytics data marts
- Enforce data testing documentation and consumption
- Implement data quality testing freshness checks
- Maintain snowflake data warehouse
- Manage Fivetran ingestion pipelines
- Monitor Snowflake usage and costs
- Optimize warehouse design clustering materialization compute usage
- Own analytics data platform
- Partner with domain experts on metrics
- Prioritize stakeholder analytics requests
