Robotics Controls Engineer
Tasks
- Analyze controls performance using simulation log replay closed course testing field deployment
- Debug controls localization and vehicle behavior using logs metrics and replay
- Define improve validation methods performance metrics release criteria and regression tests
- Design implement tune validate control algorithms for autonomous vehicles
- Develop maintain state estimation pipelines with sensor fusion
- Identify root causes across controls state estimation vehicle interfaces sensors timing integration
- Integrate controls into autonomy stack with perception planning systems hardware and operations
- Serve as technical owner for production readiness validation and cross team mentoring
- Write safety critical production C++ and Python code for real time constraints
