Fulfillment Planner
Tasks
- Analyze inventory to minimize spoilage
- Communicate customer shortages to customer service
- Communicate inventory shortages to supply planners or sales channel managers
- Communicate purchase plans to contract manufacturers
- Coordinate inventory movement
- Create and manage purchase orders in SAP
- Develop SKU deployment strategy
- Develop plans to improve customer order fill rate
- Maintain distribution center inbound schedule database
- Maintain plant outbound shipment load plan
- Maintain third party transportation providers inbound scheduling tool
- Manage dc to dc inventory transfers
- Manage inventory shortage reports
- Maximize stock transfer order freight utilization
- Plan and purchase inventory
- Track and develop improvement plans to reduce unplanned shortages
