Tasks
- Administer nonintravenous medications
- Assist physicians and nursing staff in patient care
- Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians
- Follow infection control procedures
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
- Perform EKGs
- Perform phone and in person intake screening
- Perform quality control on medical equipment
- Perform simple specimen collection and venipuncture
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment using autoclave
- Record patient care documentation in medical record
- Remove staples and change wound dressings
- Room patients and prepare for examination
- Support and follow Standard Delegation of Orders
